Faye Dunaway, an Oscar-winning actress whose career has spanned over fifty years with appearances in 70 feature films, including Chinatown, Bonnie & Clyde and Network.

Sabine Azema, a beloved comedienne in her native France, has won two Cesars for Best Actress, starred in Alain Resnais films such as Wild Grass and Private Fears in Public Places, as well as box office hit Tanguy.

Storyline: …….Determined to gatecrash her ex-husband’s funeral on glamorous French hideaway Ile de Re, former Hollywood princess HELEN (70) escapes her London old folks’ home with the help of MARIE (early 60s), a repressed expat housewife. Together they discover exactly how much fun – and trouble – two pensioners on the run can muster.

Increasingly, a band of gifted actors of ‘a certain age’ are proving they have the caché to carry a movie. From big budget studio vehicles like The Bucket List to smaller productions like Calendar Girls, these films are achieving global distribution and box office success. Asitha’s distinct authorial voice brings to mind the films of Andrea Arnold and Asif Kapadia. KIN was recently selected for the IFP No Borders Market taking place in NYC during Independent Film Week.
