Storyline: ……Determined to gatecrash her ex-husband’s funeral on glamorous French hideaway Ile de Re, former Hollywood princess HELEN (70) escapes her London old folks’ home with the help of MARIE (early 60s), a repressed expat housewife. Together they discover exactly how much fun – and trouble – two pensioners on the run can muster.

Overview: ……In recent years there has been a subtle shift in attitudes, on the part of both filmmakers and the movie-going public. Increasingly, a band of gifted actors of ‘a certain age’ are proving they have the caché to carry a movie. From big budget studio vehicles like The Bucket List to smaller productions like Calendar Girls, these films are achieving global distribution and box office success.
