Based in London, Bright Pictures develops and produces feature films with artistic, social and commercial value. The company was founded when producer Sarah Sulick teamed up with writer/director Roger Goldby to make his feature film debut THE WAITING ROOM, released by Lionsgate (UK) and IFC Films (US). Sarah is now the company’s sole MD.
A dual national (UK/US), Sarah has over 20 years of experience working in the development, production, acquisitions, marketing, distribution and international sales of feature films, including Bright Pictures’ four productions THE TROUBLE WITH JESSICA, THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES, HONEYTRAP, and THE WAITING ROOM.
Recently Sarah served as Co-producer on director Anu Menon’s Hindi-language whodunit NEEYAT, produced and financed by Amazon Prime India and Abuntantia Entertainment, which had its worldwide cinema release in July 2023. Bright Pictures was involved in creating the blueprint for production of the film, which shot in England and Scotland in 2022.
From 2017 to 2020, Sarah was based in-house at theatre impresario Bill Kenwright’s company BK Films as an executive producer, where she EP’d OFF THE RAILS with Black Camel Pictures as well as John Travolta’s cult curio THE FANATIC.
Previously Sarah held executive positions in development at Scorpio Films (Dear Frankie) and acquisitions at Renaissance Films (The Republic of Love). She is a voting member of BAFTA, a member of the director & screenwriter selection committee for the BIFAs, and a member of European network ACE Producers.
