Bright Pictures is currently developing feature film STRIKERS IN SARIS with the BFI, written by BAFTA Fellowship winner Meera Syal and inspired by the true story of Jayaben Desai, as well as TWO OF US, an English-language remake of Filippo Meneghetti’s award-winning Deux, with Modern Films.

Both films will be directed by Anu Menon, whose UK drama credits include "Day of the Jackal" starring Eddie Redmayne for SKY/Peacock, "The Winter King" for ITVX/MGM, and "Killing Eve" for BBC/MGM. Her Hindi-language feature film credits include Neeyat (2023) for Amazon Prime India/Abundantia and Shakuntala Devi (2020) for Sony/Amazon Prime India/Abundantia. Anu also directed International Emmy Award-nominee "Four More Shots Please" for Amazon Prime.
