Bright Pictures is currently developing feature film STRIKERS IN SARIS with the BFI, written by BAFTA Fellowship winner Meera Syal and inspired by the true story of Jayaben Desai, as well as TWO OF US, an English-language remake of Filippo Meneghetti’s award-winning Deux, with Modern Films.

Both films will be directed by Anu Menon, whose credits include "The Winter King" for Bad Wolf/ITVX, "Killing Eve" for Sid Gentle/BBC, feature film Shakuntala Devi for Sony/Amazon Prime India/Abundantia and International Emmy Award-nominee "Four More Shots Please" for Amazon Prime.
Bright Pics has also formed joint venture Funny Peculiar Ltd with writer/director/producer/ composer Matt Winn (w/d The Trouble with Jessica) to develop and produce further dark comedies for film and television.
